The Building Thriving Communities Programme is a collaborative partnership between ShipShape, Sheffield City Council, and multiple organisations across Sheffield. Together, we support and develop Welcome Places in the central area of the city.
Welcome Places support local cost of living activities and Welcome Places to initiate and develop services that enable the community to build their own capacity to negotiate the cost-of-living challenges.
What We Offer
ShipShape's Community Development Worker will ensure Welcome Places are integrated into local services, addressing local concerns, and where there is a lack of provision, support the work to develop services as required. We strive to ensure that Welcome Places and other cost of living activities are sustainable and have robust plans for their future development.

How to Join
Central Welcome Places can contact ShipShape for a visit, meeting or any support required. Our Community Development Worker will contact the Central Welcome Places to arrange a visit. Alternatively you can contact ShipShape for a visit, or any support required.
