Our Men’s Health & Wellbeing Service is designed to support men in improving their physical, mental, and emotional health. Our dedicated Men’s Health Worker offers practical guidance, reliable information, and personalised support to help you feel your best and make positive, lasting changes.

Whether you’re looking to boost your fitness, improve nutrition, manage stress, or simply talk to someone who understands, our service provides a safe, friendly, and confidential space to get the support you need. Our approach combines personalised support with community‑based activities, helping men build healthier habits, strengthen resilience, and feel more empowered in their everyday lives.


What We Offer:

  • One to One sessions, group activities, and wellbeing workshops designed to foster connection and confidence, supporting your specific goals and needs

  • Guidance on fitness, healthy eating, and lifestyle change

  • Emotional and mental wellbeing support, including stress and mood management

  • Group activities and wellbeing sessions that encourage connection and confidence

  • A supportive, judgement‑free space to talk, learn, and grow

  • outreach at local venues and local barbers delivering men's wellness and health checks


Feel Good Fridays

Our Feel Good Friday session is designed for men looking to socialize. We offer games, golf, boxing, pool, along with tea, coffee, and plenty of fun. Use this opportunity to connect with other men and speak with our men's worker.

Community Outreach

Our men's worker provides services at various outreach locations, including local barbers, St. Mary's Church, and Moor Market.

This service is for men of all ages who want to improve their health, boost their wellbeing, or feel more supported in everyday life. Whether you're looking to make healthier choices, manage stress, get more active, or simply talk to someone who understands, we’re here to help.


How to Join

A referral is made to ShipShape Community Hub by either your GP Practice, a professional service, or self-referral. You can also contact our Men's Health and Wellbeing Worker, John:
