Opportunities

Volunteering

We offer a range of meaningful volunteering opportunities that support our community health and wellbeing programmes. Our volunteers play a vital role in creating welcoming, inclusive spaces and helping people feel connected, supported, and valued.

Volunteers also play an important role in shaping our services. Through their insight and connection to local communities, they help us reach areas and groups that may otherwise be underserved. They identify gaps, challenges, and emerging needs within the community, enabling us to continually adapt and improve what we offer. This ensures our services remain responsive, inclusive, and able to support those who need them most.

What We Offer

  • Our volunteers support a variety of activities across our programmes, including:

  • Welcoming and supporting attendees at community sessions

  • Admin Roles

  • Assisting with activities such as chair-based exercise, crafts, and group games

  • Helping to prepare and serve refreshments and light meals

  • Providing conversation and companionship to reduce social isolation

  • Supporting events such as Dementia Cafés, Information Hubs, and Holiday Activities

  • Starting up activities of your interest (that meet the need of communities in our neighbourhood)

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds. Whether you have experience or are new to volunteering, we provide guidance and support to help you feel confident in your role.
