Dementia Information Hubs

Dementia & Carers

Shipshape Dementia Information Hubs provide a friendly and supportive space where people living with dementia, their carers, families, and friends can find reliable information, access local services, and ask questions in a safe and understanding environment.

To make our hubs as inclusive as possible, we also offer conversations and support in Urdu and Punjabi. We aim to raise awareness of dementia within diverse communities by delivering sessions in accessible, community-based locations. For this reason, we use allocated community spaces to run our hubs.

We deliver 3 hubs each month across the community to reach a wide range of people and families.

What we offer

  • Clear and reliable information about dementia

  • Advice on local services and support available

  • A safe space to ask questions and get guidance

  • Support for carers, families, and friends

  • Conversations and support in Urdu and Punjabi

  • Friendly staff who understand and listen

Who is it for

These hubs are for people living with dementia, their carers, family members, and friends. They are particularly designed to support and engage people from diverse communities who may benefit from culturally accessible information and support.
